Problem

Communication and negotiation between companies and their crew members remain informal, with spreadsheets used to manage company resources. Through user research, we identified three major pain points:

Decentralized communication

Bookers need to use a variety of communication channels to reach their crew.

Informal agreements

Parties make verbal agreements and then lose track of what was said and done.

Third-party contracting

Most professionals use interim agencies for contracting and invoicing, adding a layer of administrative complexity.

Users

Two types of users were identified:

Production planner
